Dmytro has two wars now. One is our common one – Russian full scale invasion – and until one day he did everything he could, like all of us – he supported our country, our defenders.
They say that such young men are the future of the country. He was interested in shipbuilding, made a remote-controlled ship himself, which he presented in competitions.
He is a graduate of the choreographic ensemble of folk dances “Sokolyata”. Dmytro participated in international festivals, representing Ukraine. He is a very purposeful person, active, as well as exceptionally well-mannered and responsive.
And he is fighting cancer… Osteosarcoma of the left hip. This is an extremely serious disease, and the treatment is very long. But there is every chance for a full recovery – the main thing is to undergo extremely complex treatment.
His mother, who saves children’s lives every day – she is a pediatrician, is next to Dmytro. And this is not just a job for her, but a vocation, because even in the oncology hospital where her son is being treated, she treats all children as her own, helps and cares. From the first days, the children loved her very much, as well as they loved a lot Dmytro.
And now Dima extremely needs our support. In order to get rid of cancer once and for all, in addition to chemotherapy, the tumor should be removed. And it is located on the bone… And it also needs to be removed. Then the young boy will be left without a leg… But there is a way out. An endoprosthesis that will replace the diseased part of the bone and the limb will be completely preserved.
Dmytro will be able to walk, run and help others, as he always did before his illness. But the cost of the prosthesis is UAH 570,000…
This sum of money is simply unaffordable for Dmytro’s family. And there is very little time for fundraising. There are 2 months left before the operation. We very much ask you to support this family, which in such a difficult time for the country and for them personally, shares the warmth of their hearts with everyone who needs it. Please help to save Dmytro’s leg while it is possible. We have 2 months and I sincerely believe that we will succeed.
