They do not die from bullets. They die because of the inability to get help. They die without medicine, without food, without water, locked in basements.
Mothers of children with cancer continue to ask us for help. Some have gone abroad and are receiving treatment, some are continuing their treatment in western Ukraine, some in the occupied territories. Many seriously ill children have remained in Ukraine as they may not survive many hours of travel.
Charitable Fund «Pediatry protiv raka» (Charitable Foundation “Pediatricians against cancer”) continues to support ill children and asks for help.
Children with cancer go through hell during treatment and now they have experienced such grief – like war … Some of them can no longer return home, some are afraid to leave home, but brave mothers break through to buy at least something from medicine and food for children.
We understand that now is an extremely difficult time for all Ukrainians. We understand that our defenders need help the most now. But we cannot leave without protection and help children who have fought so long and hard for their lives with cancer.
War shouldn’t take away children’s lives!
